The Kit list for a attempt at Everest is huge. I contacted all the major mountaineering brand looking into possible sponsorship with not allot of luck. Every company inundated with proposals for challenges just like mine.
It was a second attempt at contacting The North Face that i was fortunate enough to be put in contact with Mark Dix, Sales Director of The Outdoors Company. Mark has assisted me in getting all the kit required and hunted down certain items that seem close to impossible to get hold of.
I am really grateful for the support and help Mark and Outdoors Company has shown to my challenge and I am delighted to be wearing The North Face.
I would like to thank Jenifer Collins (Friend in San Francisco) for help with the purchase and shipment of gloves, a few jackets and the Himalayan Pants that where impossible to get hold of in the UK.

Flights and Emergency & Evacuation Insurance Purchased
Emergency and Evacuation Insurance all confirmed from BMC
Flights booked for Nepal (Cho Oyu) and all set to go apart from Kit which is a huge part of the expense for expeditions like these.
I have a few photos from a friend that has been to Kathmandu many times and this is the landing.
Very short run way..... Mmm!!!
